The Falcon EDGE Fall Self-Retracting Line delivers advanced fall protection for work in areas where edge risk is present. From the outset, the unit addresses situations where standard fall arrest blocks may fail, such as falls over sharp edges or through skylights. As a result, users gain protection across a wider range of fall hazards.

First, the Falcon EDGE features an edge-tested design, which allows safe use in both vertical and horizontal applications. In addition, the unit handles sharp edges with a radius of ≥ 0.13 mm, making it suitable for demanding environments. At the same time, the extremely durable polycarbonate housing protects the internal mechanism and withstands heavy site use.

Moreover, the unit supports use in multiple configurations, including overhead mounting (Fall Factor 1), foot-level anchoring (Fall Factor 3), and work near edges. Despite using a thicker 7/32” galvanised steel cable, the lifeline remains 30% lighter than many competing models, which improves handling and user comfort. Furthermore, corrosion-resistant internal components increase service life and help reduce long-term ownership costs.

The Falcon EDGE includes two screwgate karabiners, allowing quick and secure connection straight out of the box.
